The acoustic box fan is one of the quietest and most compact on the market. It contains a high quality Torin Safin squirrel cage fan lined with soundproof acoustic foam. Housing it in a 18mm MDF box means it is cheaper than its metal counterpart and the MDF also acts to absorb some of the small amount of noise generated.
